The Smithville Sting 10U team will be looking for 2000 birthdates but will consider strong 2001's. All positions will be considered.

Our club was established in 2005. We also have teams in 8u, 12u, 14u & 16u for 2011. All practices will be held in Smithville.

Tryout location is Heritage Park in Smithville. Both tryout dates will have a start time of 6:00.

KC Naturals will be holding tryouts Tuesday, July 27th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Adair field #5.


All positions will be considered. We will be playing both 16B and 16A tournaments. Travel is a must. We are looking for players who bring energy, focus and commitment to the field and to their teammates. We have a strong core of girls who have achieved success by winning the Summer Slam tournament and placing 2nd at USSSA Missouri State. Parents, we expect fundraiser participation, positive support for your daughter and her teammates, and good sportsmanship in the stands. I'm Coach David Vickers formerly of the Olathe Rockets 14U Team. Next season I break new ground as one of the few selected KC PEPPERS teams at 14U.
I will be looking for a variety of new players for all positions on the KC Peppers 14U-A team. We are planning to play a mix of USSSA and ASA tournaments, I also plan on returning to Colorado with my team during the 4th of July weekend for the biggest tournament in the country. In addition we plan on attending the USSSA State, ASA Metro's, USSSA World Series and ASA Nationals. If the *ESPN Premier tournament opens up for 14U we will try to qualify for that as well.
For the past 25 years the KC Peppers name has been recognized in the Kansas City area as a High Performance Team which is very popular throughout the USA and a variety of Colleges who watch our games at tournaments including Division 1 Coaches. The Peppers are noted as exposing the most talented softball players in the Midwest that can compete at the next level. Coach Eakin has brought national attention to Midwest softball players through his Nationally Ranked KC PEPPERS GOLD teams each year qualifying 10 of the past 12 years at the Gold Level for Nationals. One of two "TRUE" 18 GOLD teams in the Midwest. Over the years Coach Eakin has brought more attention of Division 1, Division 2 to the players from the Midwest than any other team. I've traveled with Coach Eakin for the past 4 years with my older daughter Laura, the 18th most recruited player in the Country according to **ESPNU, at 18 Gold and plan to bring the Peppers winning tradition to a 14U age group and help them progress through the next stages of softball.
If you are under the age of 14 as of January 1, 2011, love softball, love the KC Peppers this could be your chance to wear the name on your uniform. We are looking for players with heart for the game, willing to learn a new level, developed skills and talents and understand how to play the game unselfishly.

Diamond Skilz (Amos) will be holding tryouts on Tuesday, July 27th @ Adair Park #3 from 5:30-7:00. We are looking for young ladies that are fundamentally sound, have good athletic ability, and a strong desire for softball. A strong positive softball attitude is a must for us. All positions are open for tryouts - We have a strong need for pitcher(s) that wants lots of experience/circle time. We are looking for players that want to grow and push themselves to be great softball players.
The Diamond Skilz organization has its own indoor training facility with a full infield plus batting/pitching tunnels. All players in the Diamond Skilz organization will be able to utilize skill/agility training / availability to private lessons / and year round softball attention. Our goal is to help your daughters softball skills reach their full potential.
